Pastor Melvin Adams
For those of you who have not met me yet, let me introduce myself! My name is Melvin Adams. I have been the lead pastor at FFCC since 2017. I am married to Tamela and we have five wonderful children! Two of whom are attending WGCA this year in the kindergarten class. I grew up in Ukraine as a missionary kid and was called to full-time ministry over twenty years ago. I have done most jobs on
the church side including being a youth pastor, worship pastor, staff pastor and church planter. I also did construction for many of those years and taught for four years in the Virginia public school system. My passion is to see our children have a Biblical worldview and to be equipped to face the onslaught of the culture using God’s truth. I have served on the steering, facility and fundraising committees for the launch of the school and I believe fully in WGCA’s mission. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of
what God is doing here!

Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Terrie Osborne
Hello, I am Terrie Osborne.
I love our God with all my heart
Who loved me first, before my start
in life on earth to walk with Him.
He called my name, not on a whim,
but with a plan and purpose true
to follow Him in all I do:
as wife, to Phil, and mom to adult children,
and as your kindergarten teacher at WGCA!
After a year of serving on the steering committee for the academy, I am very excited for our opening in August!
I graduated from UCF with a B.S. degree in Special Education after attending Olivet Nazarene University and Ball State University.
I am certified with the State of Florida Department of Education to teach K-12.
I taught 18 years in Lake County Public Schools and private schools in Clermont for 18 years.
When I am not teaching I enjoy swimming, boating, and game nights with my family and friends.
Fueled by God’s grace I look forward to teaching the children God sends to WGCA!

1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Sharon Parsons
My name is Sharon Parsons. I grew up in a small coal mining town in southwestern Pennsylvania. And yes, I’m actually a coal miner’s daughter! Teaching has always been my passion, even as a child. I’ve been teaching for a little over 25 years now in both public and private schools. As a born-again believer, it became more and more difficult for me to stay true to my Christian values in the public school setting. Moving to Florida a few years ago opened up greater opportunities for me to continue working with children and their families in a Christ-centered environment. I’m an honors graduate from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and certified with the Florida Department of Education to teach grades K-4. I also hold an endorsement from Wilkes University of Pennsylvania in Instructional Leadership & Coaching. Besides children, I love just about all of God’s amazing creatures. To relax, I enjoy swimming, reading, writing, and creating educational materials.

2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Amy Unger
My name is Amy Unger, and I was born and educated in North Carolina. While other little girls played Barbies, I played School. I always knew I wanted to teach.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Campbell University in K-6 Elementary Education.
I began my career as a school Librarian, before moving to Pennsylvania to marry.
I have taught in PA and NC.
My experience has been varied and eclectic, as my husband joined the Army, and we decided that I would stay home and educate our daughter.
During that time, I used my experience to volunteer in many VBS, FRG, as well as on post in the schools.
After working briefly as a Guest Service Coordinator, God has led me back to my calling, education.
In my free time, I love to knit, read, experiment in gluten free baking, and write.
